When creating a deal manually, there’s much clicking to do, especially if you have lots of mandatory fields. When you have certain accounts as a sales rep, you have to click through all of these fields over and over again, and some of them never change (like existing business or new business etc.).

So, it would be life-saving for some sales reps to be able **to create an automation that pre-populates some of the (chosen) fields while you’re creating a deal for a certain client.** So HubSpot would check the chosen fields based on the client information and pre-populate the fields automatically, of course they could be also changed if needed but you didn’t have to start from blank.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to share this idea — we genuinely read and consider everything submitted here.

After review, we don’t have plans to build this right now. This is actually something we find interesting, but we have higher-priority work in flight that we need to see through first. It’s on our radar for future consideration.

That said, we revisit our roadmap regularly, and customer ideas like this one do influence what we prioritize.

An alternative solution would be to consider using workflows to copy properties from associated objects to the deal.

Thank you!
