It would be great if HubSpot was able to pull company record data into the contact creation form when creating a contact via the Company record page. The system already knows the source record and already associates the company on the contact creation form when creating a contact from the company record. We need to ability to map properties that match from Company to Contact and pre-populate those properties to expedite our contact creation on a company with known values. It is a very cumbersome and time consuming process today since we require a fair amount of properties on the contact record creation don’t want to open these to be optional as we fear we will then have contact records without any information.
I love this idea, much needed! Other databases I’ve worked with allow you to create relationships and map properties from a source record. This feature would be extremely helpful and would reduce redundant data entry for users.

Thank you for taking the time to share this idea — we genuinely read and consider everything submitted here.
After review, we don’t have plans to build this right now. This is actually something we find interesting, but we have higher-priority work in flight that we need to see through first. It’s on our radar for future consideration.
That said, we revisit our roadmap regularly, and customer ideas like this one do influence what we prioritize.
Also, there are two alternative solutions that may be helpful here: using sync properties, or using workflows to copy properties between associated objects.
