# Post on a LinkedIn Group using workflows

Hello!

Does anybody know if there’s a way to post on a LinkedIn Group via HubSpot workflows? Of course, this is for time-saving purposes.

In the HubSpot workflows settings there’s no such an option, but has anyone tried using an additional tool?

No. LinkedIn removed the API to post in groups back in 2017. You may be able to post via triggers and actions using your company’s social account, but that’s about it.

Hi Ben

Did you mean triggers and actions, but with an additional tool (like an integration)? We also need to post via workflows on a LinkedIn and Facebook pages. Would it be the same case?

For LI groups the API to do anything with the groups object was removed years ago. So I don’t think there is anyway to do anything with a LI group.

As far as posting to your own LI/Meta accounts, those should be possible with integrations with some social tools like Buffer/Hootsuite/etc. It might need a third party tool like Zapier/Make depending on the function that you are looking to accomplish.
