Does anyone know how to position a document on an email template? I added several documents but the system placed them in various positions throughout the body of the email and made it look distorted.
Hi @DLeffridge,
Could you please share a screenshot of what exactly you’re referring to? Are you working with the marketing email editor or are you composing a sales email? Where are you experiencing the distortion, in the editor inside of HubSpot or when the email is received in an email client?
The more details the better community members will be able to help.
Best regards!
Hi @DLeffridge,
If you want files to be sent as attachments, you’d have to click this:
This lets you attach files from the file manager. If you want to share documents, not files from the file manager, they require a hyperlink in the body of the email. Document tracking only works with linked files, not attached files.
Best regards!
Hi - I’ve built an email template to use in 1 on 1 settings and for use in a sequence. In the template, I’ve added a personalisation into the body of the email that references a pdf/jpg uploaded to the customers contact card. When I test this email sequence, the email sends fine, but the PDF/jpg doesn’t show at all. No link, no reference to the personalisation field unless it’s a PDF in which case a number string shows.
Can documents uploaded to the customer card via an upload field in the contact property be sent to the customer this way?
Each customer needs a unique PDF/jpg, so it can’t be a generic attachment from the document upload option.
