# Popup CTA doesn't work properly

We use the CTA to display the form in a pop-up window and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. In incognito mode in Chrome it mostly doesn’t work, so this is a good place to test. An error appears:  
“web-interactives-embed.js:1 Uncaught DataCloneError: Failed to execute ‘postMessage’ on ‘Window’: Port at index 0 is already neutered.  
at HTMLIFrameElement.handleFrameLoaded”

Anyone has idea what causes the problem?

@kgwozdz have you tested without the cookiebot to verify that the functionality works regardless of the user’s cookie prefernces? I’ve seen a lot of interference in functionality from cookiebot and would recommend starting there. It’s likely why incognito mode doesn’t work.

Thank you @Jnix284 you were right. Cookiebot was blocking it.

You’re welcome @kgwozdz, happy to help. If you want it to work properly, you’ll need to add a functional cookie for the pop-up script and users would have to accept it.

As cool as a pop-up form on button click is, it’s not what a user is expecting when they click a button (unless you’ve explicity told them that somewhere). It would be good to run a small focus group with 10 users to capture their feedback and expectations before and after clicking the button.
