Populate hidden field on popup form with user data

Hello all!

I am trying to auto-populate a hidden form field on a popup form. I found a link to populate fields using a querystring in a URL, but since this is a popup form, we are not redirecting the user to a new URL, so I don’t think this will work in this case.

Is there a way to populate fields in a popup form?
