Please allow Record ID's to be hidden and tasks to be clicked on reports

I have created custom reports that show Record ID columns for each data source selected. I don’t need to see these, I don’t want to see these, I want them gone. They take up too much space. The other information on my report needs more space.

I did not add the Record ID fields to my report, they just show up automatically. I’ve already contacted support about this. They confirmed that the Record ID columns could not be removed on my end, and they suggested I make a feature request here.

Lastly, any report I make that lists tasks does not make it easy to open said tasks. Please make more fields clickable. I want to be able to directly open a task, contact, deal, company, or ticket from within a report. This will drastically speed up my workflow.

EDIT: At the very least, let the ticket name, contact name, company name, deal name, etc. be clickable.

EDIT: One more idea, give us a field where the Contact’s first and last name are combined so it takes up less space. My desktop screen is only so big, might as well be efficient.

Agreed. I have a custom report combining Tasks and Companies. The results are viewed as a table. This is the only way I could filter the tasks based on a Company property, as far as I know. Now I can see exactly the Tasks I want, but I can’t “click to them”.

On the subject of a “combined” name: I have a workflow that concatenates Salutation, First Name, & Last Name into a single Contact Property. I realize you can only use that in certain places, but it has helped us see more stuff in less space.
