# phone number formatting

When creating a contact from within the Outlook sales side panel, it doesn’t seem to prompt you to apply the phone number formatting (+44 (0) ); apparently it does in the Google sidebar… does anyone else’s Outlook do this also? Using O365 outlook web.

To better understand and diagnose the issue with phone number formatting in the Outlook sales side panel, could you please provide screenshots of the following:  
1. The screen within the Outlook sales side panel where you are creating a contact and encountering the phone number formatting problem.  
2. Any specific fields or prompts related to phone number input where the formatting issue occurs.  
3. If possible, a comparison screenshot from the Google sidebar or any other platform where the phone number formatting prompt works correctly for reference.

Sharing screenshots will help me and others in the community visualize the problem you’re facing more effectively and provide you with the most accurate assistance. Once you have the screenshots ready, you can upload and share them here.

Hi

Using your own message as example  
If I use this ‘add to HS CRM’ function in the side panel, and click in the Mobile phone field of the form, it comes up with no number formatting (suffix +44 etc)

Versus, when entering a phone number in the HS app itself, you DO get the prompt for number formatting.

For the avoidance of doubt, this WAS working in the Outlook sidebar about 3months ago when we first went live, but has stopped now…
