Permission settings for sending emails from specific email addresses

We just switched to Help Desk and when we were managing our emails in the Inbox we could limit who had access to the inbox and that made it so only the people with access to the Inbox could send emails using the “Send From” email address. This permission feature isn’t in Help Desk so now everyone can send emails using our bigger email addresses. I need a way to limit who can send emails using our bigger email addresses (like support@company.com).

We are now working on a solution by which if a user does not have access to Help Desk, they also do not have access to send from that Help Desk--connected team email address in a communicator on a record page. Just like Conversations Inbox.

That is different from “I want specific teams working inside Help Desk to be restricted to certain email addresses” which is tracked in this Idea.

@EricHirsh Amazing, great to hear!

Our inside sales team uses HelpDesk.

Our field sales (150 users) do not use helpdesk, but they still use the underlying pipeline. Does this mean they will be blocked from this pipeline unless we buy 150 seats for them?

Is there anything on this fix that restricts viewing by team? We utilise the Team function in Hubspot but in HubSpot HelpDesk, all teams can see all HelpDesk tickets regardless of pipeline. For confidentiality reasons, we need on only specific teams to be able to SEE specific pipelines and after much discussion with a HubSpot rep, this just isn’t possible. Can pipelines be restricted to specific teams?
