Hi all,
May I ask for help: I need to calculate the persentage of all number rows from total by creating new column with formula.
What fields to apply? Variables are below on the screenshot:

Hi @MSerebriannik

According to the [official documentation](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-formula-fields-in-the-custom-report-builder?hubs_content=knowledge.hubspot.com/de/reporting-and-data/topics&hubs_content-cta=uiLinkDark):
_“Formula fields perform row-level math on your data table, which means the calculation is performed on a row-by-row basis. This is different from aggregate math, which is performed on the column level.”_

This means it’s not possible to calculate percentages relative to the total directly within a table using formula fields in your current setup.

My recommendation:
Use a donut or pie chart instead of a table. These chart types automatically display percentages for each segment, which achieves the desired outcome without needing complex calculations.

Let me know if that helped you 😄

To calculate a percentage, use this formula:

**Percentage = (Value ÷ Total) × 100**

In a new column, divide each row value by the total and multiply by 100. For example, if the value is in **B2** and the total is in **B10** , use:

=B2/$B$10\*100

This method is also commonly used in tools like a [**net salary calculator**](https://calcolostipendionett.it/), where individual deductions are calculated as a percentage of total salary.
