This is a flaw. I need this option for when a member on the team is traveling for work for a few days/week and unable to complete tasks for their list -- I do not off load more work onto others, esp if its for a week. Its a waste of time and resorces to even spend the time off-loading that to others.
Example, I have clients in workflows and when I am in Europe and not about to make a bunch of sales calls to clients/customers the the US, I need this workflow to beable to pause.
This is another area where the system is not sophistacated/Streamlined enough for some levels, companies, and users.
I’m surprised this hasn’t been prioritized with product. In my specific use case, which I imagine is similar to many others, I want to add a pretty complex branch to an existing workflow. I’d like to pause the workflow while I test the new branches. If I turn it off while testing, all the contacts in a holding step will just be unenrolled, and I can’t re-enroll them at the step they left off at.

Would be great to be able to pause certain sales reps from the rotation during their holidays/sick leave without having to adjust the workflow each time.
I would love the ability to pause select contacts from proceeding in a workflow. Then, if I believe they should continue, I can approve them to proceed from where they left off. I’ve filled out they google form per the admins request. Thanks!
Just jumping here in 2026 to request this feature. I found this thread because I couldn’t find that option and am shocked it still doesn’t exist. In our use case, we want to send a one-off to those is in a nurture workflow, and have them resume the workflow at a later time. We can add branches and delays at each step of the nurture and then the “go to action” to resume their spot, but that has to be done at every stage of the nurture and we’ll have to do it all over again for the next one-off send. It’s crazy you can’t simply pause it and then resume at a later time!
