I am using the API to retrieve information for all deals to load into a Google sheet, and trying to associate each deal with its owner. The Deals API gives me the ownerID of the owner, so I am trying to retrieve the list of all Owners in Hubspot in order to make the association.

API documentation says the example URL for this is [http://api.hubapi.com/owners/v2/owners?hapikey=demo](http://api.hubapi.com/owners/v2/owners?hapikey=demo)

Hitting this URL (with my valid API token, of course) gives Error 404 Not Found.

All other API URLs I have tried work just fine. No issues getting the Deals data I’m looking for, Contacts work fine, etc. I’m a CRM user, but the doc says this should work for CRM users. Also tried the url with “v1” just for fun, that didn’t work either.

Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Hey @joulecase,

When I attempt to get the list of owners for portal 6600327 using this endpoint \<[Get Owners | Owners API](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/methods/owners/get_owners)\>, I’m able to see that it returns a 200 response with the list of owners.

In this case, could you provide more information so that we can further look into things:

1. The portal ID that you’re retrieving the list of owner

2. Could you try using a rest client i.e. [Postman](https://www.getpostman.com/) to send the endpoint?

Hi Wendy, thanks for your reply. Very embarrassing, as I was copying the URL to test it in Postman I found that it had “V2” with a capital V. Changed to lowercase and all works fine… Sorry for the false alarm…
