Hi @DAllchurch, Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I understand that one user is trying to [connect his personal email via IMAP](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email-tracking/connect-your-inbox-to-hubspot), is that right? I can see that in the article (link above) I shared, it is stated “ **Please note:** if you are trying to [connect an email account to the conversations inbox](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/conversations/get-started-with-conversations#team-inbox), you need to connect an inbox that is hosted with either Gmail or Office 365. Conversations does not support an IMAP connection.”. Can you confirm that you are not trying to connect the IMAP inbox to the conversations’ inbox? Can you also review the [technical requirements listed here](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email-notifications/what-are-the-technical-requirements-for-connecting-my-inbox-to-hubspot-with-imap) please. You must meet all of the technical requirements before you can connect. Are you using the two-factor authentication? If your email inbox uses two-factor authentication, you’ll need to enter a third-party app password. Review documentation from your email provider (e.g., [Yahoo Mail](https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN15241.html) or [iCloud](https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204397)) for instructions on how to generate a third-party app password. Thank you - using a third-party app password solved the issue.
