+1 for a customer. As an alternate solution if the main goal is to best identify the roles of the contacts and the primary point of contact, you could always create custom association labels if you are a super admin: Create and use association labels
That wouldn’t have bearing on order, but it would help organize your contacts and communication efforts, and you can also filter by association labels in tools like lists!
