We would like to add an additional Sharing setting for reporting in the the permission settings.
We are seeing a lot of activity around report creation and dashboard creation. It’s great to see everyone experimenting, but we would like to have some fixed company Dashboards that are available to everyone, the rest should only be for the owner or shared in their teams. This will make it easier for everyone to identify the company Dashboards, their team Dashboards and their own dashboards. Same for reports.
A: This would require the permission settings to include the option to Share reports and dashboards with default “Owner only”(if they have access to create and own reports/dashboards), “Team Only” and “Everyone”.
B: A default dashboard access/report sharing setting to “Owner only”, the user can then select other options depending on their permissions.
C: An option to create Groups/tabs for Dashboards (for example: Company dashboards, team dashboards and individual Dashboards)
This way the account admin to make sure not everyone can share and assign dashboards and reports with everyone, keeping the Company wide dashboards separate from team and individual Dashboards.
