"Opted out of email: One to One" / "Unsubscribed from all email" fields

I am just wondering how the fields work that are titled “Opted out of email: One to One” and “Unsubscribed from all email fields” which have recently been introduced.

I can’t seem to make any changes to these fields or remove them so I presume they self-populate but based on what?

Hi, @Louis1. The global unsubscribe appears by default in your portal, and any of the “Opt out: *” properties appear as you create email types, and allow your recipients greater flexibility in controlling what communication they prefer.

You won’t have to do anything with the properties themselves, as they’ll be created on their own. Review that article to see how those subscription types are used, and how you’ll configure it in HubSpot, so recipients can select from those choices.

[ETA: You’re correct these are out-of-the-box properties that are unmodifiable. You won’t need to make any changes to them, only ensure they’re leveraged for your email communication.]
