I am looking for feedback on organizations that you have used to help you source lead information. I am looking to populate our CRM with high quality contact information and I am currently reviewing a partnership with Zoom Info. Our ideal customer is K-12 school leadership teams.
If you have used Zoom Info, did you have a good experience?
Did they integrate well with Hubspot?
Are there other organizations that you would look at?

consider also using linkedin sales navigator and cognism. I know with Zoominfo the data can lag a bit (meaning people have moved to another company and zoominfo doesn’t reflect that for a while). I find linkedin sales navigator is more real-time but does not show contact info. together, zoominfo and sales navigator show a lot. I am considering using Cognism.
@DMac24 The HubSpot Admins HUG has an upcoming event with the former CEO (now GM of Clearbit at HubSpot) of Clearbit, which was recently acquired by HubSpot - it might be worth checking out what’s coming natively to HubSpot
So I’m by no means an expert but I’ve used Cognism, Sales Navigator, and Zoominfo for sourcing leads. Being based in the US I wasn’t impressed with Cognism’s information. The system was easy to use but the contacts especially were often out of date. The one thing that was nice about it is you could request Cognism to attempt to update information for a contact and they would attempt to update. Sometimes it was nothing more than they would attempt to call a number and verify if it was them or not.
Sales Navigator was great tool if people at the company had LinkedIn profiles in particular. Some industries weren’t as great for Sales Navigator but if you are going to use LinkedIn actively then I felt it was a valuable resource.
Zoominfo was the best in my opinion at generating leads from scratch. By that I mean putting basic parameters in the search and fine tuning it to your needs. Only draw back is if you are targeting smaller companies in some industries it tends to be somewhat limited. For example my company manufactures waste dumpsters so we target dumpster rental companies primarily. For the large companies the contacts it provides are helpful, but many independent small companies don’t turn up when doing an advanced search. Zoominfo’s extension is helpful when comes to importing data to HubSpot as it makes it very easy.
Zoominfo was significantly more accurate in regards to information on
companies in the USA. The company I was with when using Cognism had
offices in England and I was under the impression that the information
wasn’t so bad for those companies.
When we added Zoominfo at that company only managers had access to it (and
I wasn’t one) but the info they could pull was far more accurate. We were
targeting decision makers for the finance/accounting department of
companies as we were selling an expense software and for good size
companies those individuals are usually not easy to connect with on a cold
call. If an agent had a company that they just didn’t have any good
contact numbers for they would send the company info to a manager and often
Zoominfo would pull some quality contacts.
