Since Google+ is going away soon, is there a plan to globally remove Google+ social media links from landing/web page and email templates? My org has a ton of templates with Google+ still on them, so I’m hoping HubSpot will delete Google+ integration entirely to save time. Thank you!
When more than one person is editing an email, blog or landing page at the same time, it would be helpful to have the option to grant one user editing priority. Otherwise, the second person to enter the document finds their changes aren’t saved and has to leave the document. When I am editing something my assistant set up, I would like to have editing priority.
Thanks for posting, @AlissaS! I agree, this can be a pretty painful experience. We don’t currently have a solution for it, but we’re hoping that we can make some big improvements to this in the future. Looking forward to more feedback/upvotes on this post. Thanks

I agree. Better: make it visible that someone is editting a page, mail or blog. Better yet: make it possible to have multiple people edit at the same time. Just like in Google Docs…
One of the features I miss from Calendly was the ability to block out a certain date on a certain calendar. Right now, with Meetings, the only way to do this is create an all day event on Google Calendar or Outlook 365. It would be nice to be able to do this in Meetings.
For example, if I wanted to be unavailable on June 21 for a single calendar (I have several), I can’t block the date for JUST that one calendar. I can only block it all for all calendars and only by doing so on my Google Calendar (or Outlook).
Hi
I have a Shopify store and it is connected with my Hubspot. When clients make orders in the Store, all the information does not come in to Hubspot.
The contact was created with the deal. But there is no address information and no phone number.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
We are a Saas company that is working to create our Knowledge Base. We would love to house it in HubSpot since we use the CRM and now Service hub.
The goal is to have a knowledge base that only our customers can easily access, but no one else can (mostly competitors). While the login idea is great, we don’t want to make our customers log in to our app - then have to log in again to see the knowledge base.
We would only have our knowledge base link inside our app, not on our website.
It would be great if the knowledge base had an area where you could either add the tag yourself in the <head> tag (kind of like how you can in landing pages) OR just have a button that says No follow and the system automatically adds the tag to the header for you.
Upvote if you agree!
Hi,
I’m in a situation where I want to use a if/then branch to decide next step based on if a value in a property (in this case Amount) is higher then current value.
Right now I can only put in a manual value but I can see great usecases allowing us to chose from all current properties in these cases.
Example.
The Order amount last time was 100 USD, the order amount of the just received order was 150USD. That is higher then the current amount and means it is an upgrade and not recurring…
That is exactly what I would like to do. Currently, you can use external services like Zapier or Integromat to do so.
Please make the folders that hold Templates private, if the user clicks a button. We have some emails that we don’t want all team members to see.
I was previously using HS and needed to renew my certifications. The panel for accessing the courses has been drastically changed and is no longer user-friendly.
I get kicked between 3 pages and there is no clear way to enroll in a course. A simple “Enroll” button under each course description (on 1 page, not 3) seems to be a no-brainer.
The Academy landing page is ridiculous. There’s no direct navigation to access a view of just your own enrolled courses. I started each course in separate tabs, refreshed my account several times, and none of them showed up on my account. Shouldn’t that have registered asan “In progress” course - somewhere???
After reading the more recent bad reviews of HS online, I have now deleted my account, and will not recommend HS to my clients. The fact that HS has now become a magnet for Upwork, says it all.
Ironic - HS failed at their own marketing platform.
There are no less than 4 “Ideas” pages all asking (in different ways) for this same feature!. Please go and upvote all of them. Here are the links:
- Option to turn off “Create new contact” when logging email
- Turn off “create new contact” for Gmail integration
- Automatically log incoming emails from existing contacts
- Only log emails to EXISTING CRM contacts!!
Please go an upvote all of them.
Creating a new contact for every random email it sees makes this Hubspot feature a mess for GDPR compliance. Creating a bunch of workflows to catch or delete these random addresses is messy. Manually doing it is painful.
I am blown away that this isn’t already a feature.
How. HOW does HubSpot not do this!?
(A question I now seem to be asking myself about various expected features on a regular basis…)
Update: we are now paying an external development provider £720 per year to make this happen. It’s fiddly to admin and took hourse to set up, and every time we add a new user we need to do extra work. I’m extremely glad we’ve found a solution, but my word - I am so disappointed that HubSpot do not allow this! It’s a GDPR nightmare.
Looking at the other threads where this has been logged, it’s been an issue since 2017 and there’s no sign of it even being acknowledged, let alone fixed. And of course requests to support go completely ignored, or they give you the runaround.
Does anyone else get this issue where you contact Support about something like this, and they talk in circles about what the platform can do, instead of just giving you a straight answer explaining, “No sorry, you can’t do that.”? It drives me crazy. At least be honest so I know what I’m dealing with and can go find someone who can actually fix the problem.
I’ve just posted something similiar and was pointed to this trail in order to provide an “upvote”…
Bit worried to see that there are so many other similiar post trails asking for the same thing but no solution?
Hello,
Apologies if this has been answered or is deemed odd…
I wish to send my emails from Outlook rather than within the Hubspot portal; I have the requisite addins in place and all works fine.
I want to log emails sent to prospects and customers but do not wish to create a contact record for every new email receipient. This is because I also email suppliers, contractors and personal contacts and do not want a CRM contact record automatically created for them.
How can I log emails to existing contacts only? Obviously I would then have to manually create contact records where I did want to log the mails but this is fine.
Thansk in anticipation…
James
If you are considering upvoting this feature request, please also take the time submit a BUG REPORT. This can no longer be considered a ‘nice to have’ capability. Since this request was first made two years ago, GDPR and other laws have made the mail-sync capability unusable until it is fixed. There is no other way to express to them the urgency of this need.
Wow - 2 years and still no feature update…
OK so I feel like I’ve been reading these forums for a bit too long, but isn’t this a fix?
‘Never log’ settings (connected inbox)
If your inbox is connected, you can specify email addresses and domains to never log emails for:
- Click Log and track settings.
- On the Never log screen, in the text field, enter an email address or a domain you do not wish to log emails for and click Add.
- You can continue to add additional email addresses or email domains to the field one at a time, clicking Add after each addition.
- When you send an email to a recipient with the email address or email domain that’s on your Never log list, the email will not log in HubSpot. You can also specify never log emails and domains from your HubSpot account settings.
Set log and track defaults (connected inbox)
With a connected inbox, you can set log and track defaults under your extension settings.
- Click the sprocket icon, then select Log and track settings.
- Click to toggle the Log email and Track email switches on if you want your emails to be logged and tracked by default. If you would rather manually select the boxes for logging and tracking each time you send an email, then leave these switches off.
