We have many contacts who provide their work mailing address, but then when they request a free t-shirt want it mailed to their home address. Is there a way to collect and store work and home mailing address (so two mailing addresses) for a single contact in HubSpot? (I could create custom properties - Home Street Address, Home City, Home State, etc. but that does not seem ideal.)
Ok, thanks. Tied to this, do you know if in a HubSpot form you can then have either the home or work address fields display based on if they want the t-shirt to be shipped to their home or work address? Or do I just have to put all the work and home fields in the form for them to choose which ones to fill in?
Hi @BGainey,
If you create a dropdown property to choose between home/work, you can use dependent form fields to show either the home or work fields: Use dependent form fields (legacy)
Best regards!
Ok, that sounds like a good solution! Thank you.
Ok here is the easiest to keep them separated. Let’s say you are in contacts; which more means your home address. Up on the right side of your screen, it says Companies + Add; this is where you add the company information with the company address and phone. Keep the contacts for non-business and the company for business contacts. Same thing if you are in Company and you want to add an employee to that company, again upper right, Contacts +add, now you can add a residential address there. So here is an example: you are in contacts of John Smith with his business information in Contacts. Here is what I would do. Top right, click on Companies +Add and “Add Existing Company” screen will come up. It will give you a chance to search for a company, let’s say he works for John Deere Company - 53402, you type in John Deere, but no company exist in your database that says John Deer, now you click on the tab Create New, and create the Business Contact. Now, put all the business information in there and click save. Now John Smith will have a business contact connected to his account and vice versa
