This is going to make for quite the amazing advancements this year by way of AI assistants! I cannot wait for this full functionality to be on my phone because the first thing I’m going to test out is: Tethering my phone to a power cable and having it on a tripod facing me using camera tracking (thank you Samsung!) and just have it open and running all day to see what it’s like having a virtual assistant in the same room conversing and watching what I’m doing on screen via the phone’s camera! Naturally when the desktop version is out that won’t be necessary, but, it’ll give me an idea of what it’s like to have that just open and running non-stop. I mean, the entire world is about to change (from my perspective) in the next 6 months. Literally people will be able to talk to one another, who likely couldn’t do so before, due to a language barrier. Once this makes it’s way to be more embedded into phones tho… IF Microsoft makes a phone model powered by GPT, I’ll drop my Samsung that instant. --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
I can’t decide if I’m excited or terrified!
