OG source of lead on leads

It’d be useful to have in the lead prospecting space, the ability to add a column for original source of lead or drilldown.
Also would be useful to have that on the lead contact when reviewing the contact without having to go into the contact record.

As far as workarounds go, here’s what you could do:

  • Create a cross-object report for contacts and leads, visualized as a table, and display the contact original source for each lead. Leads would be the primary source, contacts the additional source. Create reports with the custom report builder
  • Enroll in the new beta “Custom Lead Properties, Required Lead Properties and Lead Form Customization” (change 1234567 to your hub ID: Product Updates) and use a workflow to copy the original source values from the contact object in the lead object. This would let you see the original source directly as a column on the leads index page.
