Edited Monday March 23, 2026 - The application is now open!

HubSpot Community members are invited to apply to become an UNBOUND 2026 Insider beginning Monday, March 23rd, 2026. Applications are open until April 15th. Continue reading for everything you need to know before you apply.

Program Overview

Taking place September 16-18, 2026, UNBOUND is an annual event, powered by HubSpot, that unites thought leaders from around the world across marketing, sales, customer success, and revenue operations. While at UNBOUND, you can connect with dozens of impactful speakers, explore new perspectives from thousands of business leaders, and build your future for three unforgettable days in Boston and online. Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center [formerly known as the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC)] is located at 415 Summer Street, Boston, MA, USA.

Why is INBOUND changing its name to UNBOUND? INBOUND is becoming UNBOUND because the event and the community it serves has grown beyond what the original name conveyed. INBOUND began around a specific marketing methodology at a specific moment in marketing history. That methodology still matters, but growth today spans the entire customer journey: marketing, sales, service, RevOps, and AI-powered experimentation. UNBOUND reflects that expanded reality. Learn more here.

As an UNBOUND Insider (fka INBOUND Correspondent), you’ll share your experience through written content, video, and social channels. We count on our Insiders to surface key learnings from sessions, highlight new HubSpot product announcements, showcase the connections they’ve made, and bring their unique perspectives to the broader event conversation.

Meet the 2025 cohort here!

What’s Changing in 2026

INBOUND 2025 was our strongest year yet for the Correspondents program, and we heard your feedback. Here’s what’s new for our return to Boston:

  • Expanded eligibility. Applicants must be an active, engaged member of at least one HubSpot Community program, including but not limited to HubSpot Community Champions, HubSpot User Groups, and Academy Bootcamp Instructors. Contact your program DRI with eligibility questions.
  • Improved onboarding for first-time Insiders. Based on 2025 feedback, we’re introducing enhanced pre-event support and clearer role expectations so new Insiders feel just as prepared as returning veterans.
  • The Learner Correspondent program returns for INBOUND 2026 in Boston - with a new name. We’re welcoming college students, early career professionals, and industry switchers to apply to be an UNBOUND Emerging Voice — with a shared timeline, more flexibility to explore what matters to them, and a more connected experience overall.
  • As in past years, the application includes an optional self-identification section. Completing it helps us build a program that truly represents our community.

Selected Insiders will be notified by early May 2026. The Community Advocacy team looks forward to reviewing your application!

  • I see the phrase “create content” mentioned. I am not an influencer or content creator. Is this program still a good fit for me?
    • Content creation is an intentionally broad term. We encourage all participants to create content in the format and channel of your preference. Some examples we are looking for include:
      • Short-form posts on LinkedIn
      • Long-form blogs on your company website
      • Replies or new threads on Reddit
      • YouTube videos and podcasts
      • Content created in languages other than English

  • I’d like to start booking hotel and travel accommodations, when will I know if I have been selected?
    • Selected Correspondents will be notified by early May. The INBOUND hotel portal will be available once you have redeemed your ticket. The INBOUND team strongly recommends booking your hotel as soon as you gain access to the portal.
  • My plans have changed and I am no longer able to participate. Can I transfer my ticket to someone else on my team?
    • Because individuals must apply to be selected, participation and benefits are non-transferable. We will miss you! Please contact us at advocacy@hubspot.com so that we may extend the invitation to someone on the waiting list.
  • I’ve already purchased or received a ticket for INBOUND 2026. If selected, will I receive an extra free ticket?
    • If you wish to keep your existing ticket, please contact us at advocacy@hubspot.com so that we may invite someone on the waiting list. If you wish to transfer your existing ticket to a colleague, follow the steps detailed on the INBOUND Help website. INBOUND Correspondent participation and benefits, including tickets, are non-transferable.

I love HubSpot ever since, and I fell in love with INBOUND last year. Honestly, that’s an understatement. The energy, the people, the ideas… I left INBOUND 25 more inspired than I’d been in years. It pushed me to start posting on LinkedIn, sharing what I was learning, and actually building the community I always wanted to be part of.

The Correspondent program feels like the natural next step. Not just to attend, but to contribute. To capture those real, on-the-ground moments and bring them to the people who couldn’t be there. I can’t imagine I missed the last few years.

Hi there!

When it comes to creating content as a correspondent, will the on-boarding cover these topics?

  • Where is the content expected to live? Personal channels, my employers channels, or both?

    • Does it need to be perminent, temporary, for a select amount of time?
  • What does cross-promotion between HubSpot and my employer look like, if any?

  • Could my employer be involved in approving content before it goes live? Especially if it’s cross-promotional.

Hi @MWeaver94 - thanks for these questions!

  • Content is expected to live on personal channels. Once it’s posted, it’s yours to manage as you see fit.
  • For this program, the relationship exists between HubSpot and the individual — not their employer. (For example, if a Correspondent changes jobs between application and the event, they remain in the program.)
  • Correspondents have full autonomy over their content — no pre-approval required, which keeps things authentic and timely.

Onboarding resources will cover channel-by-channel guidance, required hashtags, and recommended posting cadences in more detail.

Hi folks! By now, you may have seen that INBOUND is now UNBOUND! As such, the INBOUND Correspondents program is now the UNBOUND Insiders program. Here are some FAQs you may have about this rebrand:

Why is INBOUND changing its name to UNBOUND?

INBOUND is becoming UNBOUND because the event and the community it serves have grown beyond what the original name conveyed. INBOUND began around a specific marketing methodology at a specific moment in marketing history. That methodology still matters, but growth today spans the entire customer journey: marketing, sales, service, RevOps, and AI-powered experimentation. UNBOUND reflects that expanded reality.

I’m already registered for INBOUND. Do I need to do anything?

No, you’re all set! Your registration carries over automatically to UNBOUND. Everything you’ve signed up for remains the same; no action needed on your part.

Is UNBOUND the same event as INBOUND?

It’s the same community with the same values, but with a bigger vision. UNBOUND is the next chapter of INBOUND, carrying forward fifteen years of practitioner-first learning and aligning with how modern growth leaders actually work. The programming, the people, and the commitment to substantive, actionable content all continue.

Why “UNBOUND” specifically?

The name is intentional on multiple levels. The phonetic connection to INBOUND signals continuity and the word itself captures how growth works today: less constrained by single-channel funnels or siloed teams, more interconnected, iterative, and adaptive. To be unbound is to grow without limits and to adopt a way of thinking that isn’t defined by how things used to work, but by where growth is headed.

What’s changing about the event experience?

UNBOUND takes a limitless approach to growth and turns it into practical strategies modern teams can apply immediately. Expect sessions built around tested playbooks, real-world AI use cases, and clear examples of how marketing, sales, and service teams are driving results together.

I’ve attended INBOUND for years. Is this still for me?

Absolutely. INBOUND attracted people who were willing to rethink how growth works. That same spirit carries forward in UNBOUND, a broader, more expansive way of approaching what’s next.

Wait—are you really just changing one letter?

Yes. And it’s intentional. The phonetic bridge back to INBOUND is by design to show that this is a continuation of 15 years of learning and iteration. We’re extending what INBOUND started and building forward.

Hi Hubspot Champions!

I’m excited to apply to be an UNBOUND Insider 2026. I’m a long-time HubSpot advocate and active community member who creates LinkedIn content around conferences, product learning, and marketing insights. My focus is on turning live experiences into high-impact, digestible storytelling that extends their reach well beyond the event itself.

At UNBOUND, I would bring a strong ability to create:

  • Live event storytelling that captures key moments in real time
  • Short-form video recaps that highlight key insights and energy from sessions
  • Carousel content breaking down themes, learnings, and takeaways
  • Engaging recap content that builds excitement before, during, and after the event

Beyond content creation, I’m deeply invested in HubSpot’s growth. I’ve led the transition of our marketing team from a previous CRM to HubSpot and am actively driving expansion across our sales organization. I’ve seen firsthand how the platform evolves and delivers value for modern revenue teams.

I’ve consistently shared my HubSpot and conference experiences on LinkedIn, helping translate complex sessions into practical insights for my network: :backhand_index_pointing_right: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sonyahoshmand/

What I bring to UNBOUND is not just content creation, but the ability to amplify the event narrative in a way that is authentic, timely, and valuable for both attendees and the wider HubSpot community.

I’d love the opportunity to contribute and represent the community as an UNBOUND Insider in 2026. Thank you so much!
