What is it?
Last year, HubSpot announced a native integration with Shutterstock, the world’s leading stock photography site. Today, this integration has been extended to the social publishing tool, so you can select images for your social posts to all networks (including Instagram!!) directly within the composer.
Why does it matter?
Engagement is a key metric to look at when posting to various social networks. Facebook for example uses engagement as a way of determining what posts show up within a user’s newsfeed - the more engagements, the more likely a post is to appear. One easy way to increase engagement on your posts is by including images. Facebook posts with images receive 2.3 times as many engagements than posts without images. With Shutterstock integrated directly within the social publisher, HubSpot users now have access to over 60,000 stock images, allowing you to create beautiful social posts that increase your social engagement.
How does it work?
Within the Social Publishing tool, select which social platform you’d like to post to. When editing your post, select the image icon. Within the following side panel, you will see a tab for “your files” allowing you to pick a file from your file manager, or “Stock images,” allowing you to select an image from Shutterstock’s extensive library of stock photos.
Who Gets it?
This update will be rolled out to all users of HubSpot’s social tools over the next week.
