[Now Live] New Quote Templates now available in Sales Hub Pro and Enterprise

What is it?

Flow, a new quote theme, is now available in Customized Quote Templates. Flow offers two (2) templates. The first is content rich with a variety of text modules and images, including a testimonial module. The second is optimized for showcasing line items and accepting payments.

Additionally, the line item module in this theme will support custom line item properties, a highly requested feature by customers.

Why does it matter?

With the launch of Customized Quote Templates in March, we’ve heard two key pieces of feedback.

  1. I’d like to edit my customized quote template like landing pages and email
  2. I’d like to build out a more content rich quote like a proposal

We plan to offer a drag-and-drop experience next year. In the meantime, we will introduce a wider variety of templates to help alleviate some of the pain customers are feeling in its absence.

How does it work?

For Sales Pro and Enterprise Users, navigate to settings > objects > quotes > customized quote template. Click create customize quote template. Select from either the proposal or quote template in the content creator, and edit the template! As a reminder, you can style flow using theme settings and hide modules in the module side bar.

To add a custom property to the line item module, open a flow template in the no-code editor. Once there, find the line item module in the sidebar and click on it. This will open the editing options. Click add, and then select your customer properties from the dropdown.

I’m afraid I don’t have visibility into if and when this feature will go live. I would recommend following this related feature request in the Ideas Forum so you receive a notification when our Product Team makes an update to the idea.

Thank you @kvlschaefer we are trying to use/deploy this, but it isn’t working correctly, and I really do think it is a bug, as opposed to our “design talents”. IS there support available?
