Notify old owner of a contact when there is a change in contact ownership to another user

Hi there!

I would request for a solution to a problem we’re having currently. This is with regards to contact owners of companies and contacts for Sales Professional.

For Instance, Let’s say “A” is a contact owner for “James Nunes”. Now, whenever anyone or admin changes the contact ownership from “A” to “B”. I would like an auto email notification to go to A, stating that your contact/company ownership is transferred to B.

Currently, A doesn’t get notified of any such changes.
I would sincerely request Hubspot team to consider this. Thanks.

has this been addressed at all? A simple fix would be to allow a workflow to see when the owner field is last updated. You can then drive automation off that.

Would love this feature as well, I’ve seen some workarounds utilizing custom properties but having this as a native feature would streamline this for admins and reduce the clutter of many custom properties in an object.
