# Not sending emails

Hello, we’ve the email subscription  
Yesterday, we made all contacts as marketing contacts but emails are not going out

We get only non blocking errors like this but now it’s 1 week we’re late? What to do

Thanks for anyone helping us

Hi @OFogliadini,

In your first screenshot, when you click into the _Recipients_ tab, under _Not sent_, you should see the reason why your email isn’t being delivered. Could you check?

Generally, there are multiple potential reasons why your emails aren’t being delivered. Could you confirm the following?

Are you [using the marketing contacts](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/contacts/marketing-contacts) functionality? If yes, are all recipients marked as marketing contacts? (HubSpot will not send emails to non-marketing contacts.)

Are you [suppressing unengaged contacts](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email/what-is-graymail-and-how-can-i-avoid-sending-my-email-to-unengaged-contacts) in the _Recipients_ tab of the email? If yes, you could uncheck the box. Otherwise HubSpot will exclude these contacts.

Are you using an [exclusion / suppression list](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email/how-do-i-create-an-email-suppression-list) in the _Recipients_ tab of the email? (_Do not send to_ dropdown)

Do you have the [GDPR settings enabled](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account/how-do-i-turn-on-gdpr-functionality-in-my-hubspot-account)? If yes, you might have restricted email sends to contacts who have a legal basis for communication only. In that case, you would have to [update your contact’s subscriptions](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/contacts/manage-your-subscription-preferences-and-types).

Have some of the contacts [previously bounced](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/email/what-is-the-difference-between-a-hard-bounce-and-a-soft-bounce)? You can check by filtering your recipient list by “_Email hard bounce reason_ is known”.

Did you already hit your [monthly email send limit](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account/which-email-messages-count-towards-my-hubspot-account-s-email-send-limit)? (5X marketing contact tier)

Have some of the contacts previously unsubscribed? You can check by filtering your recipient list by “_Unsubscribed from all email_ is equal to True”
