Not able to fetch the list of active users or number of licenses from HubSpot using APIs

Hi Amazing Team,

We have built HubSpot integration and can get the list of users and can provision and de-provision them via APIs.

Recently, we observed that the list of users API (/settings/v3/users/) is returning all the users - active, inactive, and deactivated. This is not an effective way to keep track of licenses and active users.

As you can understand, considering our use case, we want to fetch only active users. Is there a way (an API) we can get this information?

Also, how can we fetch the total number of licenses I have on HubSpot?

I would really appreciate it if you could provide guidance on these two questions. Please let me know if I missed anything.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks!

Hi, @RSoni72 :waving_hand: Thanks for your questions. The short answer is neither is available programmatically at this time. One question — when you say “how can we fetch the total number of licenses I have on HubSpot?” are you referring to Paid Seats in HubSpot? I want to make sure I understand your context.

I agree with you, having access to the `is archeived` filter similar to what’s available in the Owners API endpoints would be a useful addition.

I will submit this as feedback internally to the team that owns the Settings API endpoints.

If you have a moment, adding your suggestion to the Ideas Community and getting some upvotes will be very helpful in getting your suggestion in front of the Product team. If you add a link back to your Idea post, I’ll be sure to give it an upvote to help get the ball rolling.

Best,

Jaycee
