We have a Hubspot free accont, and we noticed recently that our newsletters aren’t being received correctly by our staff (and likely our clients as well). Looking over the email, I can see that the SPF and DKIM values are not correct, so I’d like to update them. I’ve made some changes to my DNS to fix the SPF issue, but the DKIM key isn’t something I can fix on my own, since it will require their key. The DKIM headers start out with this information if that helps any: “v=1; s=hs1; d=bf02.hubspotfree.net; i=@bf02.hubspotfree.net;”
I was able to find this KB for connecting your email domain, but when I’m logged in I don’t see the Website option on the side. Is there any ability to get the required DNS information as a free user, or is this hidden behind a paid subscription?
Those options for email sending authentication are only available with the paid plans. This is true for other free email service provider plans that I am aware of. I don’t know any off the top of mind that allow you to setup DKIM/SPF for free.
Hmm, to be honest, without having in depth information, its difficult to see whether this is related to your user account or the HubSpot account itself. However I do know that in order for you to connect an email sending domain, you would need to have at least a Marketing Hub Starter subscription so if they don’t have this, it won’t be possible for you to connect their email sending domain in HubSpot.
