Hello everyone! My name is Tanya Cooper and I am the Director of Marketing for a pet education company called Fear Free. Our mission is to prevent and alleviate Fear, Anxiety, and Stress (FAS) and to inspire and educate those who care for them. I’ve worked in the animal health industry for over 20 years. My background is in marketing and sales. I am part of this group as a graduate student at Texas Tech University where I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication and Innovation. I received my MBA from Texas A&M in 2021.
I am looking forward to learning more about content marketing and to translate those learnings into day to day work for myself and my team. As an education company, we produce A LOT of content and share it in a lot of different ways. Right now, my team is working on a few campaigns to educate pet owners more about calmer experiences at the veterinarian. We collect and share user generated content on social media. We also create a lot of digital content with e-newsletters, blogs, testimonal videos, webinars, courses, print collateral, and much more. The challenge for me is determing which forms of content are the highest peforming and why and learning to repeat it or adapt. I don’t know if I have a favorite podcast, but would love to check out ones that fellow learners recommend. Hi everyone! I’m Nafisa, a BBA student currently based in Bangladesh. I have experience in customer service, social media moderation, and content writing, and I’m currently expanding my skills in content marketing and digital marketing.
I’m especially interested in how good content can connect a brand with the right audience without feeling forced or overly promotional. What excites me most about content marketing is the combination of creativity and strategy — understanding what people actually want to see, finding the right way to communicate it, and then seeing how it performs.
I’m still learning and experimenting, so I’m really looking forward to learning from other content marketers here and hearing about your experiences, ideas, and strategies.
One type of content I particularly enjoy is practical marketing content that breaks down real campaigns and explains why they worked, rather than just focusing on theory.
Right now, I’m working on building my content portfolio, including blog writing, social media content, and some AI-assisted visual storytelling projects. I recently created a visual retelling of The Odyssey using AI-generated visuals and Canva, which has been a fun way to experiment with storytelling, editing, and content creation.
