New to HubSpot

Really excited to starting this new journey! Does anyone have any tips for me?

Hi @PDeLeon01 - welcome to the community.
Two bits of advice:
Think of everything from the customer’s perspective, not your own, and you can’t go wrong!
Whether it’s having deal stages that reflect the customer’s actions instead of yours (“Received demo”, rather than “Gave demo”), or sending emails that contain more “You” than “I”, if you’re always thinking about the customer and where you can add value for them, you can’t go far wrong.

The only other thing I’d say is something I find myself thinking after most calls and meetings these days, which is learn how to position yourself as an expert. Whether it’s getting your voice heard via blogs, podcasts, and articles, or just knowing your subject matter inside out.

It’s a funny thing - consciously trying to make yourself out as an expert will fail more often than not. You almost need to assimilate knowledge over time and you will organically start to exude expertise! When you offer your expert, sage advice to prospective customers they value this more than a sales pitch.
