Hi @MDadykin,
Thank you for posting to the Community!
I understand that you would like to know how to create a timeline event within an application project in version 2025.2.
I’d like to tag some of our Top Contributors to see if they have experience creating timeline events in the latest version (2025.2).
Hi [@Mike\_Eastwood](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/9259) and @ChristinaKay Have either of you created a timeline event in the new version? If so, do you have any steps or tips for @MDadykin?
Thank you!
Cassie, Community Manager

Hi @MDadykin

You can still [use the APIs to create Timeline Events](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api-reference/crm-timeline-v3/guide#crm-api-timeline-events) in the HubSpot CRM.

And, there’s the [new App Events](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/apps/developer-platform/add-features/app-events/overview) (which I haven’t played with yet).

Have fun

Mike

p.s. thank you for the mention @chighsmith
