I have recently noticed that when creating conversion rate reports, they do not take my filters into account. On a given report, I have a few filters that should narrow the results of my deals down, but the report is displaying all created deals in our system:
The numbers it is displaying here are the numbers for all of our deals.
It is only when clicking on the graph, that it shows the correct numbers:

Hi @CGoldsmith
What report are you creating?
What are the report filters?
Without seeing what you have actually set up it is impossible to help you troubleshoot.
Frank
I am reporting on conversion rate for one of our product pipelines. The filters I am trying to use are Deal Owner and HubSpot Team. The 425 number is what the total deals should be with those filters, and the 207 is what the number of closed won deals should be with those filters. However, I only get those numbers when clicking on the bar chart pieces of the conversion rate report. When I am just looking at the report from the outside, it is showing numbers for both all created deals and all closed won deals, as they would be without the filters.
Hi @CGoldsmith
Thanks for the context but I need to know:
- What report are you creating?
- What are the report filters?
Ideally supported by some screenshots, e.g. which of these report types is it. The heavily cropped screenshots you shared in your original post are not helping me identify where in the system you are and what you have set up.
Cheers
Frank
It is a conversion rate report, comparing all of our deals in a specific pipeline to the Closed Won deals in that pipeline. I am filtering on HubSpot team and Deal Owner. The problem is that on the frontend, it is not taking the fitlers into consideration, and is showing the numbers for all of our deals in that pipeline, without my filters accounted for. I have to click on the numbers to get the actual numbers for both all created deals and Closed Won deals.
Hi @CGoldsmith
So it is a Funnel report, got you.
When you say on the “frontend” - what do you mean by that, on a dashboard?
Not all reports are responding to dashboard filters, if they are taking dashboard filters into consideration, it will say so on the report and look something like this:
Funnel reports seem to be the odd one out, based on this article - see the bottom.
Frank
By the “frontend” I mean what is displaying out of the report. Again, this number of deals is reflecting all of the deals in our HubSpot, not taking the reports into consideration.
I do not have dashboard filters on, they are filters directly on the report. On this report, the only way I can get the correct numbers to display, that is, taking the filters into consideration, is by clicking on the graphs, to view every deal in the list that meets the filter requirements in a list, where it gives the correct number (images below are the correct numbers for created deals and closed won deals, with the proper filters).
