New Property - deal activity or deal information

Hi All,

I feel like this is a very basic question but I can’t find the explanation anywhere.

When creating a new property on deals, what is the difference between the use of Deal Activity and Deal Information?

Hi @MBaranowska

There is no behavioural difference, these are just logical groupings to help keep things organised. You can also create your own custom groups.

Hi @MBaranowska,

Which property group you choose doesn’t make a difference – you could go by personal preference.

Personally, I’d use Deal information for any general, descriptive information (properties that I’m not expecting to change or not change very often) and Deal activity for anything inconstant and changeable, such as custom date stamps (although some default ones are under Deal information) – but it’s really a vague distinction.
