Need a Connect Rate by Rep Report

I would like to see a way to breakdown connect rate % by rep.

# of leads vs # of leads connected with

Seems super basic… and I created a connected field - yes or no, but can’t figure out how to turn this into a percentage on reports.

Before to answer your question, there is a Beta you might be interested in: “Analyze leads (BETA)”.
Regarding having percentages on the report, I have found for you the solutions from @kevinmead and @karstenkoehler on this post “How to set a report of percentage of contact success by contact source?”.

It does seem like it should be easier to build a simple connect rate % by rep directly in HubSpot. While you can create a custom property (which you’ve already done) and build a report from it, HubSpot’s report builder doesn’t make percentage calculations like “# connected / # total leads” very straightforward.

Here’s how you can build exactly what you need using Google Sheets + Coefficient:

  1. Use Coefficient’s certified 2-way sync on HubSpot’s Marketplace to pull your lead data from HubSpot into Google Sheets

    • Include fields like Contact Owner, Connected (Yes/No), and Create Date.
    • You might even just eliminate the connected (yes/no) field to reduce bloat since you could create that as a value in your sheet

  2. Build your connect rate logic directly in Sheets

    • Group by rep using a pivot table or formulas
    • Add a simple formula to calculate connect rate
    • You can display both raw numbers and percentages for clear insights.

  3. Set it to refresh automatically

    • Coefficient allows you to refresh the data on a schedule (daily, hourly, etc.) or on demand.

  4. Embed the live chart back into your HubSpot dashboard (I created a video on this recently if it would be helpful)

    • Just publish your Google Sheet chart to the web
    • In HubSpot, go to “Add other content” → “Other content” and paste the embed link
    • Now you have a fully live, auto-updating Connect Rate by Rep report inside your HubSpot dashboard.

This gives you the flexibility HubSpot’s built-in reports don’t offer and can be leveraged for any report that you can’t build out of the box in HubSpot.
