my colleague can’t see the contacts I am the owner of, but I can see his. what are the steps to follow so we see and are able to communicate with everyone’s contacts?

It sounds like your coworker cannot see contacts that are not by them. You would have to adjust their permissions to include record access beyond their own ownership: Manage user permissions
