Multiple, old or irrelevant deals tracking to email trail

Hello,

My colleagues and I have noticed that the Hubspot Outlook Sales Extension Widget auto-assigns old or irrelevant deals to email trails. While you can select to add a deal to an email conversation in Outlook, there is apparently no way to remove deals within this widget.

Can anyone help? Or is the only way to avoid this happening, to email within Hubspot?

There likely is an explanation for the emails being associated with old deals, but it does require a bit of digging. Your account has access to HubSpot Support, so I recommend opening a ticket for a more thorough investigation. The Support team can access your account from the backend to get a quicker resolution.

Otherwise, I recommend reviewing how activities are automatically associated with objects in HubSpot.
