Yes, it would be great to be able to manage multiple email signatures and choose the one you want when drafting the email. Depending on the types of clients, their sectors of activity, and the products or offers we want to highlight.
Keep me posted - it would be very useful to be able to have more than one email signature and that it would work just as outlook does - that is if you change to your other email then the signature changes automatically.
Our team would love to have the ability to either support multiple personal signatures, or the ability to entirely disable the auto-merged signature in a specific email template (non-marketing automation templates).
The Problem:
Currently, in email templates (not marketing automation versions) you will see that an individual’s signature will auto-merge (as seen below in the screenshot).
This is perfect for most cases when we simply want the template to automatically pull the specific person’s signature block.
The downside of this is that you can’t adjust for more unique options that a team might wish for when building specific email sequences.
For example, we might have versions where we wish to include stronger messaging for opt-out or more unique follow-up items under the signature block. However, we do not want these options to entirely replace the individual standard signature block, or cause them to have to manually go back and forth to update things all the time.
Ideally, we would like the ability to manage how signatures are handled on specific templates. Hopefully allowing for more custom options for these specific use cases.
This is also very important for us. Because its just a mess to remove the personal signature everytime (and to not! forget it), if we have a “no-reply” Template for example. We have a lot of that for standardized replies and they have a unpersonalized ‘Team signature’.
Especially those templates arent used within a “conversation mailbox” and they are used within a deal or a contact object by each team member
This is really dissapointing that this issue still hasn’t been addressed. How can you offer a service like business units and not offer customers the ability to manage these units within their sales team by interchanging emails and signatures. It’s a very half designed idea and misleading when you offer the ability to manage ‘multiple brands’
Our organization uses Microsoft Outlook for email. Our users have connected their inboxes to HubSpot. Users sometimes rotate between multiple signatures in outlook depending on different audiences.
Users would like the option for HubSpot to identify the multiple signature options in Outlook and give them the option to choose whichever option is most appropriate when sending an email from HubSpot and/or from a sequence in HubSpot
It is apparent that the implementation of this vital task should have been executed numerous years ago. Its significance cannot be overstated, and it is imperative that we prioritize its completion as soon as possible.
We would also appreciate having this feature. One of our clients operates multiple business units, and the HubSpot users work with several universities, each requiring different signatures.
We are currently employing two workarounds:
1. Deleting the default signature and embedding various signatures into different templates.
2. Deleting the default signature and storing the different signatures as snippets, which then need to be manually added each time.
While these methods allow us to manage different signatures, it’s more cumbersome compared to simply having the ability to switch between different signatures.
YESSS! Thsi would be such an important feature! I do not understand why you can connect multiple email acocunt to your hubspot account and then you can only use one email signature. For us, this feature would be an absolute gamechanger.
