In many countries in Asia, the preferred date format is year-month-day OR day-month-year, and in many countries in Europe, the preferred date format is also day-month-year. Not every country uses month-day-year, which is the only setting available right now for displaying date properties as personalization tokens.
It’s important to allow users to select the preferred date format so that customers are not confused about the personalized dates they see in emails (e.g. appointment date, renewal date, contract start date, etc.).
It has been 5 years since this idea has been submitted and it would be really appreciated to see this move from “Not Currently Planned” to something to prioritize on the roadmap please.
