Multiple Currencies in deals (After the deal is created in USD)

Hi All,
Need help with something. In CRM, all deals are created in USD by default since the invoices are created in USD but the company recieves the amount in Australian dollar (after conversion)
Is there any way to keep the USD as a default currency in deals but update the deal with Australian dollar (as secondary currency) after the amount is received?
Trying this so I create new reports using both currencies and see everything at glance.
Let me know if I’m making any sense. Thanks!

Hi @jupiter1 ,

As described in [this knowledge base article](http://You%20can edit the account’s company currency in all account types. Accounts with a Starter, Professional, or Enterprise subscription have different limits to the number of currencies they can have. Check out the HubSpot Product & Services Catalog for more information on these limits. In accounts with multiple currencies: Only super admins can add and edit currencies. You can create custom properties that refer to each deal’s currency rather than the company currency. Newly created deals will use the Company currency by default for the deal Amount. To change the currency shown in a deal’s Amount property, edit the Currency property on the deal record. Custom currency properties will always reflect the Company currency setting. Each user can set their own preferred currency for viewing deal amounts in the board view.), deals are always created in the company currency and displayed in the currency set by the user as their preferred currency. So, in your example, USD would be the company currency, but users in Australia can view it in their local currency.

Thanks for the reply. So it’s not possible to show multiple currency in a single deal?

Hi @jupiter1 ,

If you notice, the article also says that “Custom Properties will always be displayed in the company currency.”

So, you could create a custom property and copy the value of the field you wanted to see in both currencies to it. That custom property will always show the value in Company Currency (USD) while the standard currency field will show the value in the user’s local currency (AUD).

So you can display in both the company currency and the local currency, but that’s it.

Hope this helps!
