Today, when we create a single multi-platform social post in HubSpot (e.g., one campaign post going to both LinkedIn and X) we compose it in one window and can see each network’s variation side by side. This is great for authoring and keeping messaging consistent.
However, once we send the post for approval, the reviewer sees separate, disconnected approval items for each network instead of one unified request. Practically, that means approvers:
- Cannot easily compare the LinkedIn and X variations side by side.
- Cannot quickly confirm that all variations are scheduled to publish at the same time.
- Have to click into and approve multiple items individually for what is logically one campaign post.
Feature request:
- Please allow multi-platform social posts to be reviewed as a single grouped approval item. Ideally, an approver would see:
- One approval request representing the whole multi-platform post.
- All channel variations (LinkedIn, X, etc.) visible together in one screen.
- Shared metadata (campaign, scheduled date/time) shown once, with any per-channel differences clearly highlighted.
- The ability to approve or reject the entire grouped post at once, with an option (if needed) to approve/reject individual channels.
This would make social approvals much faster and less error-prone for campaign launches where consistency across channels and timing is critical.
We’ve attached screenshots showing:
- The “before” state in the composer (multi-platform draft in one window).
- The “after” state as seen by the approver (split into multiple separate posts).
