Multi-language support for email subscription pages

@SyN-Thmn I think it works out of the box, but you’d have to have everything set up correctly:

1. Create the subscription and translation for each supported languages, e.g. English (default) and Spanish

2. Create a marketing email for each language, e.g. one for English, one for Spanish (you have to actually go to the email settings and set the email’s language)

3. Send a version of each language to yourself (preview send in edit mode should work)

4. In your email client, click the footer link of each email. That’s the basic setup!

There is a lot more to it, so the theme has to support it, you might have global content that is not localized, but your dev can take it from there.
If in doubt, try it using a HubSpot default theme for system pages.

It works pretty much out of the box:

1. Create translations for the subscription

2. Set email language to the desired translation

If you’re experienceing mixed language support, your themes / templates can be fixed.
Send your developer this beautiful explanation by @arinker as a starter, or use a newer theme.

I understand how valuable built-in multi-language support would be, and I hope this can become a default feature in HubSpot soon.

Howeve, unfortunately, it looks like the beta is no longer available at this time.

However, if you have Marketing Hub Professional+ or Content Hub Professional+, using [custom templates](Use system page templates) might be an option for your needs.

Since the language slug is included in the URL of the subscription preference page, it may be possible to fetch the language from [the URL](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1034621/get-the-current-url-with-javascript) or [the browser settings](https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1034621/get-the-current-url-with-javascript) and then update the content dynamically using [JavaScript](Modify DOM Elements with JavaScript).

Hope this helps!

It’s really incredible to think that a built-in multi-language support doesn’t exist in HubSpot in 2025 (almost 2026!). And this topic has been open in 2017! My God! I hope someone will pay attention to the importance of customer satisfaction. Not only Hubspot customers, but also our business customers.
