MQLs - How to see current triggers

Hi There,

We are refreshing some of our marketing reporting, and I want to understand how marketing qualified leads are determined in our account.

I don’t see a trigger for changing lead status to MQL in any of our workflows, yet we have contacts being automatically qualified every week. Obviously I understand that our team is doing so manually sometimes, but it looks like there are some forms that are doing so as well.

Is there a place I can see all the ways we are automating that change to MQL? I.e. rather than going through each individual workflow, form, etc… can I see a summary list somehow of where we are triggering that action (or HOW the marketing leads are actually being qualified). And not just for a lifecycle change in general, specifically the change to MQL.

Thanks in advance

If you go to the properties in the settings, you could look for the lifecycle stage property and there is a way to see where it is used in. My gut is telling me that if it’s not being used in workflows it’s being set by forms at the time of submission.

Hi @Ben_M,

There are two places to start your search. The first would be Settings > Objects > Contacts > Lifecycle stage > Automation. Here someone might have changed the presets:

Alternatively, navigate to Settings > Properties, search for Lifecycle stage and click the Used in number at the end of the table:

This tells you which assets are currently referencing the property. I’d recommend especially checking Workflows and Forms:

Once you find which asset is causing this, you can change it.

Hope this helps!
