# MQL to SQL

Im trying to create a dashboard that you can track how many deals went from mql to sql but i cant get it to work?

Hi @SAl-Basri,

Generally, MQL and SQL aren’t a _Deal stage_, they’re a _Lifecycle stage_. This means they’re (usually) not stored on the deal but on the contact object.

In any case, you can create funnel reports on both objects: [https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-custom-funnel-reports](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-custom-funnel-reports)

If you do not have a Professional subscription, you’ll find templates under _Menu_ \> _Reports_ \> _Reports_ \> _Create report_ \> search for ‘funnel’.
