Moving to another pipeline creates extra info

When manually a deal is being moved to a ‘Closed One’ that automatically goes to another pipeline, it somehow starts generating extra unnecessary info in the ‘Deal name’. why and where is it possible to check why is that happening?

Example of the ‘Deal Name’:

Customer Name - Solar PV + Tesla PowerwallConsultant Name Offline SourcesCustomer AcceptedProposalCustomer AcceptedProposal100%

Thanks

Hi @FilipRas,

This is not a default HubSpot process, it sounds like someone in your portal created a workflow that automatically creates deals.

You can check which workflow is doing this by going to one of those deals and checking the history of the “Deal name” property: View a record's property history

In that history, you should find the workflow that’s responsible for this. You can then edit the workflow action “Create record” and adjust the deal name it’s assigning.

You might also see the workflow that created the new deal by scrolling down to the very bottom of the activity timeline of the deal record: Filter activity index pages and record timelines

If you don’t see a workflow mentioned in either place, check the timeline and workflow enrollments of the original deal by filtering it’s timeline (again, Filter activity index pages and record timelines) for workflow enrollments.

Best regards

Is the Deal Name possible to edit/change /delete unnecessary elements that I added by mistake or need to create a new flow piece?

@FilipRas you can edit the deal names manually: Edit a property value for a record

If you want to clean up the deal names via workflow, that would require an Operations Hub Professional subscription: Format your data with workflows

Hey @FilipRas

This is not standard procedure for deal creation,

this is defintely product of a workflow intervention.

Check on the workflows section

for Deal WF that touches the 2nd pipeline with the naming problem.
