Move the Association drop-down back to the top of a logged email!

A recent update moved the association drop-down menu from the top of a logged email to the bottom of the email.

Now, if you need to change any associated contact/company/deal record, you’re required to expand the email, scroll to the very bottom of the thread, then select the associations from the drop-down menu.

Some email threads are absurdly long!

We find ourselves depending a lot on manually associating/disassociation since there is a lot of overlap of contacts/companies/deals - this is inevitable, but now having to scroll to infinity to accomplish this is terribly frustrating!

Who’s with me!?

agreed Ryan. Also takes an extra step to get Task Detail notes now

Please fix this hubspot

Agreed!!

If HubSpot had the ability to associate records based upon subject line or keywords, that would be even better.

I stumbled upon a solution, or at least a better option than scrolling through pages of email threads.

If you click on the little number next to the envelope icon (circled above), the thread will expand in a sort of box view (below).

The associations menu appears near the top of the thread so you don’t have to scroll to the bottom. It’s a couple of extra clicks but saves a heap of scrolling!
