Modify automated sales tax to support multi-location consolidated invoices

Background: I’m using Hubspot to manage quotes and invoicing for a SaaS solution where we predominantly sell into organizations that license software for use at multiple physical locations. I love the automated sales tax but the problem is that our customers want consolidated invoicing and payments (must have not a nice to have since they are dealing with 20-100 rooftops and accounting doesn’t want to deal with that many separate invoices and payments). Each location must be taxed based on the taxes for that location. I also am syncing this information back to Quick Books.

Currently, automated sales tax only works based on the top level address and assumes that rate for all line items.

Desired, ability to enable line item tax where I would be able on a product line basis select the location for that specific line item and have it show on the invoice a summary line by line of the applicable tax amount (maybe one column for the price and one for the tax). Show the total tax as is. Allow the tax totals with location to be pushed back to Quick Books.
