# MISSING\_SCOPES while fetching companies

Hi all,

After finishing OAuth flow, I try to query our customer’s companies with this API ([Accounts Dashboard | HubSpot](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/crm/companies)). But it returns a **MISSING\_SCOPES** error even the access-token has the **contacts** scope that the document requires.

The request looks like

I checked the permissions of the Access Token. It already has the `contacts` scope inside.

It seems to happen when I’m using my developer account (which has no company inside). When I create a new test account, it works. So I think it rather is a document issue but not a bug
