@ mention for quick links to Companies and Contacts in notes

Hello,

This idea was originaly a CRM question here:

When adding a note to a deal, in the text body, I’d like to add a link to a Company or a Contact. For example:

Deal is closed but the prospect prescribed us to Acme.

Where “Acme” is a link to the Company profile page.

I know we can mention HubSpot users, using “@”. But that would be cool to be able to do it for Companies and Contacts.

Like the “@” sign works in a community post here. When starting an “@” mention, you’ll notice suggestions are grouped under types USERS and CONTENT. It could work the same in HubSpot notes, with USERS, COMPANIES and CONTACTS types.

Could add a $ before the contact so it doesn’t get in the way of linking other record types

This is a functionality I use frequently in other products to save me and my team members time hunting down the right person or company.
