Each week, we will feature a member as a way for you to get to know the founders and companies in the Founder Focused community. Today we’re featuring Maximilian Bador CEO at EXSELLCO Can you share your journey as a HubSpot Evangelist since 2020 and how it has influenced your decision to start your own Digital Growth Agency? My journey began when I joined a company as Chief Commercial Officer, tasked with preparing it to go public within a year. My first major responsibility was to implement a robust CRM system that integrated seamlessly with our internal platforms, supported our marketing activities, and met our financial requirements. Initially, I was a strong advocate for Dynamics 365 CRM, having implemented and worked with it in previous roles. Despite its power, I found it more suited for legacy systems and quite time-consuming to implement. Determined to find the best tool for our needs, I conducted thorough due diligence and tested various options. When I encountered HubSpot, it was love at first sight. Its intuitive interface, powerful features, extensive integrations, and quick onboarding made it the perfect choice. Since then, I’ve changed jobs twice, each time revolutionizing the commercial organization by implementing HubSpot and achieving remarkable results. Founding EXSELLCO has been a long-held dream. Leading commercial teams exposed me to the common challenges companies face and demonstrated how seamless, powerful tools like HubSpot can drive success. In 2024, I decided it was time to broaden my impact. Rather than solving challenges for just one company, I wanted to support as many businesses as possible in achieving the same success. Although my team and I still have much work ahead, we are passionate about our journey. Helping others succeed by working smarter, not harder, is incredibly rewarding. What are some key lessons you’ve learned from implementing HubSpot in three different companies as a C-level executive? - Customization is Key: Every company has unique processes, goals, and challenges. Customizing HubSpot to fit specific needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, ensures it aligns perfectly with company operations and maximizes its utility. - Integration and Alignment: Successful implementation goes beyond deploying the software. Aligning HubSpot with the company’s overall strategy and integrating it with existing systems is crucial. Ensuring that sales, marketing, and service teams are working towards common goals is essential for leveraging HubSpot’s full potential. - Data-Driven Decision Making: HubSpot’s extensive data and analytics capabilities are invaluable. Leveraging this data for decision-making processes is crucial. Real-time insights into customer behavior, campaign performance, and sales metrics enable informed adjustments and better outcomes. - Continuous Learning and Adaptation: The digital landscape and HubSpot’s features are constantly evolving. Fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization is vital. Regular training, staying updated with the latest HubSpot developments, and being adaptable to new tools and strategies ensure sustained success. - Customer-Centric Approach: HubSpot emphasizes providing exceptional customer experiences. Implementing HubSpot reinforced the importance of a customer-centric approach. Understanding customer needs, personalizing interactions, and building long-term relationships are key to driving growth and loyalty. These lessons have been invaluable not only in optimizing HubSpot implementations but also in shaping broader business strategies that drive sustainable growth and success. --- This post was migrated from connect.com and was originally published at an earlier date.
