Hi all,
We’re trying to analyze meetings with new logos over time. I can create a report that shows the number of meetings with accounts with no deals associated with them. The problem is that if the account progresses and a deal is created, the meeting will be removed from my report even though there was no deal associated with the account at the time of the original meeting.
Any suggestions for a workaround? Thank you!!
Hi @cchampa,
Just for my understanding, you have multiple meeting links whose performance you want to test against each other, as some links feature a different logo than other meeting links?
Could you elaborate a bit on what exactly you’re trying to analyze? The volume of deals create, the amount of the deals created etc? Would you want to see this by contact or by company?
Lastly, which sample size are you working with? I’m asking because – while this is an interesting question – a low sample size would mean that whatever you’re finding might not be conclusive. I’d expect meeting links to perform quite similarly (unless they show vastly different availability, for example), so that would require quite a big sample size before you can draw valid conclusions.
Best regards
Thanks for the help! When I say new logos, I mean meetings with companies we haven’t met with before - i.e., net-new accounts coming to our sales team. Ultimately I’m interested in examining what percentage of meetings with these new companies result in a deal being created. I’m interested in the meeting activity type, not the meeting links - most of our meetings are not booked through meeting links, so I don’t need to analyze the link performance.
Hi @cchampa,
Logos are companies? That’s a new one for me
Generally, I’d recommend using a custom meeting type and using this for first meetings with new companies: Create and use call and meeting types
This could be something like “First outreach” or “Discovery call”. Once you maintain a meeting type, you can very easily visualize the count of activities with this type over time.
What do you think?
Oh nice, that could work! Would there be a way to automate setting the meeting type if the meeting is a first meeting or would our reps have to set it manually?
Hi @cchampa,
This would be set manually. If you use HubSpot meeting links, you can specify the meeting type in the link.
Best regards!
Thanks! Ideally there’d be a way to do this automatically - I’ll try to think of some other approaches.
